The Nation Newspaper Whitney Adeniran: Court fixes May 2 for ruling on Agege stadium receipt’s admissibility

Justice Oyindamola Ogala of an Ikeja High Court has fixed May 2 to rule on the admissibility of treasury receipts for the use of Agege Stadium where Chrisland School pupil, 12-year-old Whitney Adeniran, died.

Whitney Adeniran died of an alleged electrocution on February 9, 2023, during an inter-house sports competition held at the Agege Stadium, In his response, Enitan argued that they were treasury receipts for use of Agege Stadium by Chrisland School. According to him, the documents were relevant because the Lagos State government collected payments for use of the facility.
