MUHAMMAD Shafee Abdullah’s bid to recuse retired Federal Court judge Gopal Sri Ram as the lead prosecutor in the Umno lawyer’s case will only be decided after the apex court decides on a similar case involving Najib Razak, the Kuala Lumpur High Court ruled today. News reports quoted high court judge Collin Lawrence Sequerah as saying he wanted to wait the Federal Court’s decision on an appeal by the public prosecutor that it had to produce an appointment letter for lawyer Sulaiman Abdullah to the prosecution team inEffective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription.
