Tearful car bombing accused faces court after McDonald's hooting 'grievance'

A man accused of bombing the car of an Illawarra family after carrying out a six-week campaign of harassment against them appeared in court on Wednesday.

Police say the pair were aggrieved after a driver hooted at the woman when she was driving in a McDonald's car park at Warrawong, near Port Kembla, on February 22. The escalating campaign allegedly led to the placement of a "sophisticated" improvised explosive device under the victim's car in nearby Koonawarra on March 5.

Very strange. But if true the perps should be treated harshly as there was no need for any of that and for the victim it must have been horrible.

Wow the 'fixated persons investigation unit'
