Man remanded for allegedly pouring hot water on wife

An Isolo Chief Magistrate court, Lagos, has ordered the remand in prison custody of a middle aged man, Michael Essien, for allegedly pouring a pot full of hot water on his wife.The prosecutor, Mr. Oje Uagbale, described the accused as a jealous lover who had ordered his wife, Mariam Essien, not to interact with their neighbours.ADVERTISEMENT
