Govt will not interfere in court decision to allow live telecast of Najib trialKUALA LUMPUR: The government will not interfere with any decision by the court, regarding a live telecast of former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s corruption trial, says Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Hanipa Maidin. Allowing live telecast of Najib trial will devalue the whole process and demean our judiciary. It won’t be too far away before we have picnics at Dataran Merdeka watching public executions again.
