Republican attorneys general in Ohio and Montana are opposing a federal judge’s ruling that the entire Affordable Care Act should be thrown out, breaking with the Trump administration's recent decision to support the ruling.filed in federal appeals court Monday, the attorneys general argue a federal judge erred in concluding that Obamacare must be struck down because law's individual mandate is unconstitutional and cannot be severed from the rest of the law.
The lawsuit was brought last year by 20 Republican attorneys general who said Congress' decision to eliminate the individual mandate tax penalty — without removing the coverage requirement itself — invalidated the entire law. Montana and Ohio were not among the states that joined the original lawsuit.
The two states' attorneys general warn there could be dire fallout if the judge’s ruling is allowed to stand. “It is understandable that some who dislike the Affordable Care Act would cheer the result below,” they write. “But they should remember what goes around comes around.”
Just about anyone could come up with a better plan than Obamacare so it must be about the federal money they'll lose.
If Obamacare is repealed millions of American's are going to suffer and probably die as they can't get treatment for pre existing conditions or get medication. Trump doesn't care if America has healthcare or not he just wants to destroy what a black man did.
