The ruling party's secretary general pushed social media to believe Mbalula was shaking in his boots with Zuma's successful court ruling.The tweet has since caused several speculations about ANC’s stance for the upcoming election.
One joked Zuma has made a “stressed” Mbalula “into a poet”, while others suggested the politician was predicting that the ANC would show it was the “leader” in this year’s elections. Earlier, the IEC disapproved the MK party’s decision to include Zuma in its candidate’s list because of his 15 month sentence, contempt of court and eventual arrest in July 2021.Electoral Court
