PETALING JAYA: An online petition calling for Datuk Seri Najib Razak's corruption trial which starts on Wednesday (April 3) to be aired live on television has amassed about 46,000 signatures.

A bad idea. Being an ex PM does not grant him any privileges to enjoy live coverage. The former murder case of Kartigesu was also a high profile case in the late 1970s and early 80s. The case was reported verbatim, written professionally by credible journalists. This will do.
