National chairman of the All Progressives Congress and former governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, will be arraigned in court over an alleged multibillion dollar fraud on April 17, 2024.

The accused persons will be arraigned on eight-count charges concerning dollar bribery allegation, diversion and misappropriation of funds that include alleged $413,000 and N1.38 billion bribery, among others. Kano State Government, in the criminal suit filed against Ganduje and seven other respondents, said it has assembled 15 witnesses to appear before the court.

Confirming the development, the State Attorney General, Haruna Isah Dederi, said the case has been filed and all parties involved will be served accordingly.
