The Law Enforcement and Other Matters Bill gives some latitude for police officers to act with some urgency before a suicide attempt becomes imminent and before rescue could be more risky - both for the person who is under duress and for those who are trying to make a genuine attempt at rescue, said NMP Syed Harun Alhabsyi. Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday , he hopes the Government will look into three areas.
