Members of the Sun Cooperative Society Estate at Arobieye community have raised the alarm over the encroachment of their lands located

After the passing of Akanni, some family members under the leadership of Nurudeen Dada, the present head of Akanni family, who also doubles as Baale of Arobieye, began to resell the land at N2 million per plot to buyers. “It was gathered that the property became noticeable after a major road linking Living Faith Church International Headquarters with Agbara-Sango Ota road was constructed by the church besides the parcel of land.

They, however, condemned the exploitative action of the Baale in re-selling the lands without any consultations with them.They said they have every document that confirms they are the legitimate owners of the land, including survey of the land and Deed of Assignment. Thirteen persons were yesterday, burnt beyond recognition in an accident involving two vehicles at the Obajana market, where the Dangote Cement factory is located.

A three-day spiritual revival for Synagogue Church Of All Nations members ended at the weekend with prayer for Nigeria’s peace and greatness. The event witnessed crowds of members across Nigeria converging at its Prayer Mountain located at Agodo, Egbe Ikotun in Lagos.
