I’ve been writing about video games, television and movies for Forbes for over 10 years, and you may have seen my reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. I cover all manner of console and PC games, but if it’s about looting or shooting, I’m definitely there. If I’m watching something, it’s usually science fiction, horror or superheroic.

It should absolutely be a five-alarm fire at Rocksteady right now in regard to the poor reception to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s, something that has alienated even the types of fans who gave the game high scores despite negative critical reviews and low sales at launch.

At this point, Rocksteady needs to pull out every single stop in order to both fix the game and respond to angry fans instead of doing…nothing, like they have been. As one of the dozen or so people still playing the game, here’s what I would consider the “emergency ripcord” the game needs to pull, a host of sweeping, necessary changes. In a perfect world it might be like “a ton of actually new content” but I’m talking about things I hope could realistically be done very, very soon.

Do I think any of this will change the game’s fate? No. Will it make it temporarily less terrible with obvious fixes for things that aren’t working in the new season? Yes. So please, just do it.
