A Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has upheld the victory of Kayode Fayemi as Governor of Ekiti State.
Fayemi, who contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress , defeated Professor Kolapo Olusola of the Peoples Democratic Party to become Governor of the state. In its judgment on Thursday evening, the court also upheld the ruling of the Ekiti State Election Tribunal of January 28, 2019, which retained Fayemi's victory.
When APC won in a re-run in Osun with slim votes, they shouted it was rigged. Tambuwal won in a re-run election with slim votes in Sokoto, no qualms. APC won in re-runs in Plateau & Kano, it was rigged, PDP won in Bauchi & now Adamawa, it's free & fair. Where is rationality?
