The EFF yesterday , in the name of Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, issued a statement that is as false as it is racist and libellous, against the appointment by President Ramaphosa of Mr Edward Kieswetter, the incoming Commissioner of the South African Revenue Service ,” said Trevor Manuel, who came out swinging against the EFF statement.
Manuel also said that Ndlozi should inspect the national companies database where he would find “nothing”. He added that “the truth of the matter is that Edward and I have not even served on the same non-profit organisation.” Manuel also said that Ndlozi’s allegation that he had previously appointed Kieswetter as a deputy SARS commissioner was false.
The party said that Gordhan was spiriting money into a Canadian bank account while it alleged that he had enriched his daughter when she worked at Investec.
