As part of Women's History Month, we're introducing you to leaders in the community.Judge Donna Long Brightbill's family has a long history in Lebanon County, but she never thought she'd be the one making history. 'In courtroom number one there are lovely photos of the Lebanon County judges, and they're all men,' she said.Until now.For the first time in Lebanon County's 211-year history, voters elected a female to serve as a judge on the Court of Common Pleas.

'It's good for younger people in our community to see that. Do I think it's a great thing that young women can look at me now and say, 'We have a woman judge'? Absolutely. I think it's awesome,' she said.Long Brightbill grew up in Campbelltown and graduated from Palmyra High School.After college and law school, she came back home to start her family and her career.'I have practiced law for over 30 years.
