Brutal interrogation video emerges after Moscow suspects’ battered court hearing

The bruised suspects accused of taking part in the Moscow concert hall attack that killed 137 people One video, circulated on social media, appeared to show one of the men having part of his ear cut off and stuffed into his mouth, Reuters reported.after at least 137 people were killed and 182 more injured at Crocus City Hall attack on Friday. The men were named by Russian authorities as Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev, 32, Saidakrami Murodali Rachabalizoda, 30, Shamsidin Fariduni, 25, and 19-year-old Muhammadsobir Fayzov. Images emerged earlier of the suspects being dragged into the headquarters of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation .

“I shot people,” the suspect said in poor Russian, with his hands tied and his hair held by an interrogator, a black boot beneath his chin.On Friday, gunmen stormed the Crocus City Hall music hall, opening fire on innocent concertgoers just as Soviet-era rock group Picnic was to perform its hit “Afraid of Nothing”. The attackers then set the venue ablaze.

But Russia’s foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called into question the US assertions that IS, which once sought control over swathes of Iraq and Syria, was behind the attack.. The Russian president ordered a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, which he called a special military operation needed to protect Russia.
