SINGAPORE: A 21-year-old man will be charged in court on Monday (Mar 25) for his suspected involvement in a hit-and-run case which caused two people to suffer serious injuries. The police said they were alerted on Saturday at about 11.

"The driver did not stop to render assistance to the injured and allegedly fled the scene after the accident," said the police in a news release. All motorists are urged to abide by traffic rules to keep our roads safe for everyone, said the police. The offence of driving without due care causing grievous hurt carries a fine of up to S$5,000, an imprisonment term of up to two years, or both.
