On Tuesday, court heard a recording of a frantic 911 call Boyle made in December 2017 to say that his wife was threatening to kill herself.
I wonder how much the charges will touch on religion. The sex assault and confinement are routine in countries where women have no rights - with religious justification as the excuse. If he gets off, women across Canada will be under their husbands thumbs. Legally.
