U.S. Reps. Mike Gallagher and Glenn Grothman in Connect to Congress interviews, March 20, 2024. Lawmakers spoke about the controversial Texas law that would allow police to arrest illegal migrants and also touched on the TikTok ban that’s been stirring up controversy in the U.S.

Grothman believes the U.S. needs help from individual states, and Texas and Arizona would be the first ones to try to fix the situation at the Southern border. “I support what Texas is trying to do and I hope that the legal process will allow that to move forward. This border is an unmitigated disaster right now,” Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wis., said.
