A judgement into a massive compensation battle for women who lost out over changes to the pension age is due tomorrow (March 21) according to one Westminster report. A huge campaign represented by the Women Against State Pension Inequality Campaign (WASPI) has been battling for justice for up to 3.8 million whose retirement plans were thrown into chaos by the changes.
A long-delayed judgement from the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) had been said to be due ‘in weeks’ but one journalist said that he believes it will be published tomorrow. Senior Playbook author for Politico Dan Bloom said this morning on X, formerly Twitter: “A *long*-delayed report is expected tomorrow on compensation for “WASPI women” who had their state pension age pushed back.
