They claim that teaching young children about homosexuality is age-inappropriate and incompatible with their Islamic beliefs. The tweet provoked many comments – with nearly all replies slamming the institution for the poorly worded tweet. Parents have been protesting about the No Outsiders programme being taught at a school in Birmingham ‘Are there LGBT kids in every classroom of every school? Then yes, they should be taught, just like gender equality and racial history.’
