The detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has alleged that there is a conspiracy for him to die in detention.

Kanu, who is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services , said he has a severe health condition that could not be handled in his present detention centre.He told the court that his ailment had to do with the heart, a situation he said had started manifesting in his physical appearance, especially his feet.
