READ MORE: Dad of unsolved murder victim Kenneth Fetherston says he's 'speechless' as man arrested in garda probe Tragic father-of-one Kenneth’s partial remains were discovered on Military Road at the foot of the Dublin Mountains in Rathfarnham on January 31st, 2010 - after he went missing on September 22, 2009. It is now believed he was brutally stabbed to death by someone known to him, after a row over money on that date in September - before those responsible moved his body to the mountains.

It is suspected that Kenneth was killed by a man known to him after he went to a property to try and recuperate a sum of money that he believed was owed to him. It is suspected that an argument ensued and that Kenneth was killed - before his remains were ruthlessly disposed of in the Dublin mountains.

Brian told us that no matter what sentence is ultimately imposed on those responsible, it may ultimately never take away the years of pain that his family have suffered. “The way the system works in this country is they’ll take this individual’s freedom away from them for what I term a relatively short period of time.

Over the years Brian has suffered with ill health - but says he’s now in a good place and ready to continue fighting for justice. “I’m working my way through it and I’m getting stronger by the day and getting the fight back into me again. We’re fighting back. We’re getting ourselves back together again and getting ready for the next fight, without a doubt.
