Justices, Evelyn Anyadike of the Federal High Court and Adebayo Yusuf of the State High Court, all sitting in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, have jailed six people for cybercrime offences.

They are Aransiola Oluwaseun from Odo-owa in Oke-Ero Local Council of Kwara State; Owoeye Adeyanju, from Ido Local Council of Oyo State; Idris Yekini from Alimosho Local Council of Lagos State; Abdulrahmon Abubakar from Surulere Local Council of Oyo State, Rafiu Ashimiu and Raheem Ayomide Monsur from Ita-Amodu, Kwara State.

A statement from the anti-graft agency stated that Aransiola was prosecuted on a one-count charge, which reads: The Justices having considered the facts placed before the courts and the admittance of guilt by the defendants found them guilty, and accordingly sentenced them to various jail terms. Staff and students of the Federal University of Health and Allied Sciences, Enugu, have expressed their gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for upgrading the status of the institution from College of Dental Technology and Therapy to a university.

Former Vice Chancellor, University of Nigeria Nsukka , Prof. Benjamin Ozumba, has urged Nigerians and the three tiers of government to use Nigerian products and services.
