The 24-year-old will face court today after being charged over the death of William Swinbourne, 21, who died after allegedly being stabbed in a Hope Island car park.

Police have charged a second man with murder in relation to a Gold Coast stabbing earlier this month.He is due to face Southport Magistrates Court this morning.

Redbank Plains man Haedyn Patrick Zachary Rawson was charged with murder earlier this month following a manhunt that resulted in roads being shut down across the northern Gold Coast suburb.Following the court appearance Detective Inspector Mark Mooney said it was alleged that Mr Rawson had been drinking at a tavern on before going down to meet Mr Swinbourne in "in order to supply drugs to the defendant".
