Emergency services scrambled to St Enoch Square, near Adam's Court Lane, after the alarm was raised at around 3.50 pm on Monday.Images taken from the scene, shared by Glasgow Live, showed police sealing off a lane just off the square. Officers have launched a probe into the incident and their enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.50pm on Monday, March 18 2024, police were called to St Enoch Square near Adam's Court Lane, following a report of an assault and attempted robbery.
