Neil Young, KC, will charge something like $25,000 a day for her services in the court fight between Epic Games, Apple and Google. He’s just one of the top silks involved in the 16-week case.

The blockbuster Epic Games lawsuit against tech giants Google and Apple has drawn together some of the biggest players in competition law for the 16-week trial in the Federal Court.

Mr Young has been a silk since 1990, charges over $25,000 a day and is one of the nation’s most highly regarded commercial barristers. Hebefore returning to practice and acting for blue-chip clients like National Australia Bank , CSR, Medibank and Nine.Mr Young spent most of the opening day outlining the Epic case, which is being run in tandem with a class action against Google and Apple, before, is alleging the tech behemoths misuse the market power they wield with their app stores.
