Fish out killers of Lawali Magaji, Sheikh Mada – NHRC to security agencies

Kabiru Garba Marafa was brutally murdered by a group of people in Tsafe town, Tsafe Local Government Area of the State in February 2024, while Sheikh Abubakar Hassan Mada was gruesomely killed few kilometers from Mada town recently. The Commission described the act as condemnable and unaccepted, pointing out that no individual can take the law of the land into their hands and expect to go unpunished.

'The killings of Lawali Magaji, Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa's political aide and Sheikh Abubakar Hassan Mada have become eye-openers, so the perpetrators should not be allowed to be moving freely. 'The need has arisen for the security agencies not to defend the perpetrators, but to embark on thorough investigation of the two cases of extrajudicial killings to bring those behind the acts to face the full wrath of the law.
