Court rules confessions allegedly made by accused one and two in Meyiwa trial were made freely.

Mokgoathleng has made a ruling on the trial-within-a-trial in the High Court in Pretoria on Thursday, where five men are appearing for the 2014 murder of the Bafana Bafana captain.

Mokgoathleng says, “The court rules that the confessions made by accused number one was made freely and voluntarily without any coercion when accused number one was in his firm sound and sober senses.” “The confession made by accused number 2 the court rules that it was made freely and voluntarily without any coercion,” he adds.
