The partner of an alleged cult leader has been granted bail after a Sydney court heard police documents disclose a "very sophisticated, very chilling" set of allegations about the "almost lifelong" grooming of a child.

The partner of alleged cult leader William 'Little Pebble' Kamm was granted bail on Thursday. Mr Kamm is expected to apply for bail early next month but neither of the pair have entered pleas. Sandra Susan Mathison, 58, and her partner William "Little Pebble" Kamm were arrested earlier this week and police have accused the pair of grooming a girl for years from the age of six. During a bail application, Ms Mathison's counsel Malcolm Ramage KC today told Downing Centre Local Court his client had lived a "blameless life" and was "deeply religious". He proposed a set of "quite rigorous" bail conditions and argued there was no evidence that Ms Mathison wouldn't comply
