Court transcripts have revealed Matildas captain Sam Kerr was held in a police cell after her alleged racially-charged outburst against an English cop, and that her lawyers are seeking CCTV footage from the night to use for her defence.
Transcripts from a court hearing last week reveal the footballer was then either voluntarily or involuntarily detained and taken to a London police station before undergoing an interview with authorities. "I know that with CCTV, there may be time limits on that where it is automatically deleted, so I raise that today."
"Those instructing me have attempted to contact the prosecution about this but have not received a response," she said.
