A Sydney man will face court on Tuesday on harassment and stalking charges after allegedly sending death threats to his sister’s nursing colleagues, sparking a dramatic response leading to his arrest inside Westmead Hospital.
Officers arrested Turner inside the hospital around 6.25pm. He was taken to Granville police station, where he allegedly returned a positive breath test reading of 0.054, a NSW Police spokesman said.Turner was charged with one count of using a carriage service to threaten harm, three counts of intimidating a frontline emergency worker , and two counts of stalking and intimidation with intent to cause fear and physical harm.
He was taken to Camden police station, but police did not find he had committed an offence and released him from custody.Prosecutors will allege he made threats to staff members known to him via a telecommunications device.
