A legal expert has urged homeowners who find issues with their property months or even years after buying that they could be entitled to thousands of pounds in compensation.
Tony Hill, Director and Head of Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution at CEL Solicitors said: “Buying a new home is a long process, with lots of moving parts and professionals involved to help advise you. “Not only may negligent property valuations render the client at a financial loss, but a serious problem with a property may put residents in danger.“
