19-year-old Rickey Hill, the suspect accused of shooting two people in August on I-270, was arraigned in court on Saturday. A man accused of shooting two people during a road rage incident in August was arraigned in court on Saturday morning.
In October, Hill was pulled over for speeding, and officers noted he did not have a valid driver's license. A loaded handgun was found in the vehicle, and Hill was taken into custody for illegal handling of a firearm. A lab test by Ohio BCI confirmed that one of the bullets fired in the incident came from the handgun found in Hill's car, and SWAT officers with Gahanna police arrested Hill on Thursday, charging him with two counts of felonious assault in the case.
A judge set Hill's bond at just over $500,000. As a condition of his bond, Hill may not possess weapons nor commit any acts or threats of violence.
