Maxis and Huawei have started the first-ever 5G-Advanced trial in Malaysia, demonstrating the ultra-high speeds and various use cases of 5.5G technology.

Maxis and Huawei have kicked off Malaysia’s first-ever 5G-Advanced technology trial at KLCC. The trial showcased the capabilities of 5.5G, offering ultra-high speeds of over 8Gbps and enabling various use cases such as real-time high-resolution video streaming and live 3D video streaming.

5.5G also allows for more connected IoT devices within the same footprint.
