The International Court of Justice continued public hearings into Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory.

Members of the Bibas family held a news conference Tuesday to speak about a video released by the Israel Defense Forces that it says shows militants taking three Bibas family members — including a toddler and baby — through Khan Younis and which the family said “tore hearts.

“This video reminds us and the world it’s important to remember they were taken from their bed,” Yifat Zailer said, noting that she saw her cousin Shiri barefoot in the video. Zailer said Shiri’s parents — Zailer’s aunt and uncle — were burned alive in their home. “We have every right to be angry, but I choose to believe in humanity. Every child matters.
