Good Friday morning, In today’s Politics This Morning: Mary Ng leads a team talking CETA in Brussels. Poilievre plugs his Indigenous resource policy. The government paves way for the passage of its childcare bill. We’ll have to start with a correction today. Yesterday, Politics This Morning told you that the government’s summit on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women was running through today. In fact, the summit started in Ottawa’s Shaw Centre on Wednesday, and wrapped yesterday.

Ottawa time, Ng will hold a joint, hybrid press conference with the European commissioner for trade, VALDIS DOMBROVSKIS. At 11 a.m. local time, Sport Minister CARLA QUALTROUGH will make a childcare announcement alongside B.C. minister MITZI DEAN at a childcare centre in Vancouver. Also at 11, at a different local time, Labour Minister SEAMUS O’REGAN will make an infrastructure announcement in St. John’s, N.L.
