Special counsel Robert Mueller has delivered his report to the Justice Department, according to Attorney General William Barr. So what did it cost?

After a lot of waiting, special counsel Robert Mueller delivered his investigation's report to the Justice Department on Friday afternoon, according to Attorney General William Barr.

The $4.6 million in direct spending brought the total ampount—when added to the figures from the prior two reports—to $12.3 million. But the special counsel's office has also tracked other, complementary spending from the Justice Department—something it says it was not legally required to do—that it says doesn't cost taxpayers additional money because the resources would have been spent elsewhere if the investigation did not exist.

Speaking with Newsweek ahead of the special counsel's final report, Kathleen Clark—a government ethics expert and a law professor at Washington University in St. Louis—said it seemed Mueller was carrying out his investigation properly. President Donald Trump has complained on more than one occasion about the cost of the probe, which he has repeatedly called"a witch hunt," and inflated the spending numbers. He tweeted in November:"When will this illegal Joseph McCarthy style Witch Hunt, one that has shattered so many innocent lives, ever end-or will it just go on forever? After wasting more than $40,000,000 , it has proven only one thing-there was NO Collusion with Russia.

This is your spin?

Paid for by Manafort's forfeitures

Probably? Trump has demonstrated his problem with numbers since he took that trip down the escalator. He uses them for the effect not for providing information.

RT reported that WikiLinks wants to publish full report.

It’s a net gain when you consider how much we’re getting back from Manafort et al.

Let me guess - about 1/10 of the money we’ve spent to watch realDonaldTrump golf. 37 indictments make the cost well worth the investment. Real swamp draining.

Oh I’ve seen this article 4x already what are y’all tryna pivot about

He will we send copies to: Trump Jared Ivanka Nightline Honestly it does t matter what the report actually says. If it’s true trump will be impeached and if not the Dems will still have trump impeached they will just find some other reason. I love how they announce it on Friday afternoon so the Republicans have all weekend 'leaking' parts of the report.
