Stuart McGeachie was pronounced dead after being found seriously injured on a Rutherglen street around three weeks ago.

Stuart McGeachie was found seriously injured on Farmeloan Road, Rutherglen, on the evening of October 24 before making his way to a nearby flat where he was pronounced dead.

Hugh McColl, 54, also appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court charged in connection with assault. He made no plea and was released on bail. “As a family, we ask for privacy at this time in order that we can process events and support each other.”
