PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has dismissed former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's bid for a gag order to prohibit the media and public from discussing the merits of his criminal case involving RM42mil in funds from SRC International Sdn Bhd.

The Court of Appeal has dismissed former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's bid for a gag order to prohibit the media and public from discussing the merits of his criminal case involving RM42mil in funds from SRC International Sdn Bhd.

The court held that for the three appeals, there was no appealable error made by the High Court judge that warranted its intervention. Najib's seven charges relating to the SRC International's funds from the Sessions Court to the High Court. Overturning the High Court's decision, Justice Rhodzariah ordered the prosecution to produce a copy of the appointment letter.
