Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen, suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria [Photo Credit: The Guardian]The Nigerian government on Thursday closed its case against the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, before the Code of Conduct Tribunal .The prosecution closed its case after calling three witnesses to the stand.
Mr Umar said the three other witnesses could still be called to the stand if the defence wants to cross-examine them. Mr Awomolo then informed the tribunal that the defence intends to file a no-case submission but they would need time to write an address.
APC have achieved what they wanted, what do we expect?
Now that the TRUTH is manifest on Onnoghen’s UNCONSTITUTIONAL SUSPENSION & POLITICAL TRIAL, we hope president MBuhari and other MENTALLY ENSLAVED OfficialAPCNg supporters, will have the character & shame to apologize to Onnoghen and Nigerians! Onnoghen is our AUTHENTIC CJN!!
Elections are over MBuhari and the OfficialAPCNig have achieved their executed plan of removing the former CJN so that he will not preside over election petitions that will come up now his case has been closed and his reputation dragged in the mud. What a country what a govt.
Wasted time and energy
This Buhari led APC government is the worst we have seen in Nigeria. You took out the country’s sitting CJN when you don’t have verified evidences against him? Conducted several media trials to install another Northerner as CJN? This is the worst govt...
This country is funny
Some of us knew from the onset that the federal govt has no case in the 1st place against him. The CCB make provisions for forgetfulness 😂😂😂.
He must enter his defence.
Is it to say that they no longer find anything against him or he's been pardoned? Secondly, is he to be reinstated? Questions begging for answers.
Am not a legal practitioner. Some explain this to me. Does it mean he is innocent or not?
U see
What does that mean Please
