The Court of Appeal says the accused and his lawyers did not employ any tactics to delay the trial.

PUTRAJAYA: Former prime minister Najib Razak today obtained a stay of his SRC International trial pending the disposal of his three appeals in the Federal Court.

A three-member bench chaired by Zabariah Mohd Yusof said although it was a criminal case, there were special circumstances warranting the delay in trial. “There is the prospect of the charges being declared a nullity,” said Zabariah who sat with Rhodzariah Bujang and Lau Bee Lan.MORE TO COME
