Um, can you say poll tax? This was NOT in the amendment that they overwhelmingly voted on, that won by a rather large majority. Shameful. After you complete your sentence, you should be allowed full rights of citizenship. Including the right to vote.
If America forces you to follow the laws, and has released you into society to continue to participate in the society, even after committing a felony, you should still have the right to vote.

I think that’s just wrong. They paid their debt to society, they’re trying to be productive members of their community and yet they still continue to be held accountable for a public defender and a judge that we the people paid for probably way too long ago?
