has reiterated its previous order, instructing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to either unconditionally release former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria , Godwin Emefiele, or bring him to court on November 8, for a bail hearing.
The judge had on November 2, while ruling on an ex-parte motion by Emefiele, ordered the EFCC to either release him unconditionally or produce him on November 6 for the court to grant him bail. Burkaa told the court that Emefiele had been in the custody of the state for exactly 149 days without any justification.
