The first minister's parents in-law returning from Gaza and Bonfire Night attacks make the front pages.

The celebration for First Minister Humza Yousaf's family as his parents in-law return home from Gaza make the front pages of some of Scotland's newspapers. The Metro reports that the couple had "escaped from hell" after getting trapped during a visit to relatives. The family had "elation" and "heartbreak" on their reunion, having left Palestinian family members behind, the paper writes.

The Daily Telegraph leads on the Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley coming under pressure to ban a march planned for Armistice Day in London on Saturday. Sir Mark has been warned by some of his own officers that protesters could clash with veterans commemorating Remembrance weekend, the paper says.The Times says that Israel has stepped up its assault on Hamas, with IDF troops encircling Gaza City.
