National legal adviser of the party, Inibehe Effiong in a telephone interview told Vanguard that while the party welcomes the endorsements received by Awara Biokpomabo, its governorship candidate in Rivers State, it, however, remained strongly independent of the APC.
“I am the national legal adviser of AAC and I can confirm to you authoritatively that the party has not initiated any court action on the governorship contest in Rivers State. I should know if any action was taken and since I didn’t initiate any that means that the AAC is not involved in any court action,” Effiong said.
