Nigeria elections: Zamfara PDP heads to court

According to the governorship candidate of the party, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, the elections were loosely organised, saying that there is no way any responsible political party could accept such an obnoxious and infamous conduct of election in a democratic setup.

Bello maintained that he would be going to court based on technical issues that surrounded the participation of the APC in the contest of the elections. According to him, there are serious irregularities that shrouded the claimed free and fair elections by the electoral body, noting that justice must be done to impress it upon the tablets of most political parties to show that the INEC is an independent electoral body.

The governorship candidate noted that the APC had no candidates to contest the elections, stressing that it was at the 11th hour that the INEC and the court turned black into white to pave ways for the APC to contest. He advised the Buhari to prove that he is an honourable man which he said, calling on him to ensure that INEC and the court remain independent devoid of any corrupt practices in Nigeria.
