PETALING JAYA: Minutes after being released today, former DAP member Jufazli Shi Ahmad was rearrested, his lawyer said.
“My client was finally released after a five-day remand today. But just 10 minutes later, he was detained again over a different incident,” he told FMT. Syed Amirul said he was informed that Jufazli was being detained for two offences, the first under Section 504 of the Penal Code and the second under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.Jufazli was initially picked up by police on March 16 after a police report was lodged against him.
