Natrell Cunningham appeared in court on Thursday. ection to the shooting.Officers said Darius Edwards, 30, shot into a crowd on Winner Avenue. Two of the four victims were juveniles and police said the group was involved in a fight when Edwards opened fire. Police said in court documents that Natrell Cunningham was seen in footage of the scene of the shooting returning fire at Edwards.

Records state Cunningham is under felony indictment for drug charges from an incident in January of 2022. Cunningham admitted to police he pointed and fired a gun during the street fight, documents state. Booking information shows he was arrested on Wednesday. In cellphone video of the shooting, you can hear multiple people fighting in a crowd. Then, the shooter in a grey hoodie walks towards the fight and shoots toward the crowd.

Edwards is currently in the Franklin County Jail. He was previously charged in an August 2012 incident which also involved juveniles. Officials said Edwards pulled a gun on two pre-teens at a Loretta Avenue residence and forced them into a basement. Police reported they caught him with a stolen television in an alleyway not long after. He was released from jail in 2021.

Cunningham is currently in the Franklin County Jail and was arraigned on Thursday on the disability charge.
