Ngor Dao, 18, pleaded guilty to charges of affray and intentionally causing injury in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
The young man, from Burnside Heights in Melbourne’s outer northwest, appeared remotely via a video link, speaking only to say “yes I do, Your Honour, guilty” when asked how he wanted to plea.Dao was one of four males charged, and the only one who can be legally identified, after Pasawm, 16, was stabbed and died near Sunshine Station in the city’s west on May 18.
